TOM BARBATO, is a Miami Native who has watched the area grow into the world class city it is today. As Miami has grown, so has Tom’s real estate success and expertise. During his 30 years in the industry, he has excelled in real estate sales and residential mortgage lending. Residential and Commercial sales have been his focus for the last ten years, and his numerous awards at an office and regional level prove that his prior years of experience in the mortgage industry are key in getting transactions closed.

Tom has been the top listing and selling agent for the Miami Kendall office of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Realty each year since 2014 and since 2017 Tom has achieved President’s Circle, the top 5% of Realtors in the network. He also serves as a leading member of the Corporate Relocation team, an elite group of real estate professionals known for their superb customer service, professionalism and ability to provide high level corporate transferees a stress free experience.

Prior to real estate sales, Tom served as Senior vice President of Residential Lending for Republic Federal Bank and as Regional Production Manager for Sunbelt Lending for the Southeast Florida market, hiring and training a team of 25 Loan Originators.

Tom graduated from Miami’s Christopher Columbus High School and went on to attend Cumberland University in Tennessee on a baseball scholarship. He enjoys spending leisure time with his wife Yvonne and children Ashely and Christopher. He is past President of the Chiefs Booster Club at Miami Westminster Christian School and is involved in many aspects of youth athletics throughout Miami-Dade County.
